Conducted a one-on-one interview with Dean Kamen, founder of DEKA Research in New Hampshire and winner of the National Medal of Technology. Kamen is best-known as the inventor of the Segway Human Transporter, but has also devised dozens of medical devices from implantable stents to suitcase-sized dialysis machines.He's the founder of the non-profit FIRST, which organizes a nationwide robotics competition, and is currently working on water purification technology for developing countries.
